Admission of guilt.
So I looked at all these other websites, and the news section always says stuff like “so and so is performing at such and such” or ” so and so’s new album comes out in 2067” — always in the third person.
Looked at my news section and it was like “hey guys! I’m playing a show!”
So I decided to try the third person thing.
Got all serious.
Who are we kidding???!
We all know it’s me, sitting here until all hours of the morning, running my own websites, writing updates. Ha.
Back to the old style, I think. You can now look forward to a kinder, gentler news section.

Something very funny happened today…
See, I have an uncle named Eli Becker, who I happen to like very much, and I kinda thought he liked me, too.
After I sent out my email about the Lady Gaga cover, I received the above response.
I was floored. And kinda pissed, too! I forwarded it to my brother and my mom, and 2 of my closest friends. My friends were like, wow, your family sucks, and for a minute, I totally agreed with them.
Tried to understand why my Uncle Eli would respond like that, when we’ve never had an unpleasant interaction, not once in my entire life.
Was confused and sad for a little while….and then we figured it out.
Eli.Becker@gmail.com is not my uncle.
In fact, I have no idea who Eli.Becker@gmail.com is. Aside from being some other dude named Eli Becker; a dude who is totally pissed (understandably) about receiving years of Terra Naomi email blasts, updates and various other correspondence.
Yeah. Really glad I didn’t call my uncle and tell him to f*ck off! (not saying I was close to doing that, but, well, yeah, I kind of was…)
Today’s lesson:
There are many Eli Beckers in this world, and not all of them are your uncle.
